Bulb Lasagna Container

Bulb Lasagna is a method of layering or sandwiching bulbs in soil. It's the perfect way to enjoy waves of spring color all through the coming spring season!

STEP 1: Choose any pot or container as long as it has good drainage for our wet Northwest winters. For best results the pots should be at least 10" high.

STEP 2: Select 3 types of bulbs: small, medium, and large. Also look for early, mid, and late bloom season (this information is listed on every package). Now plant in layers. Start with soil, next add large bulbs, soil, then medium bulbs, soil, then small bulbs, and add remaining soil.

STEP 3: For fall and winter color, before the bulbs debut, plant Stepables® groundcovers and/or pansies to cover the top layer of soil in pot. Your bulbs will pop through just fine.
